16 05 2018

Hi, hi! We’re your Mighty Warriors Three, and have we got a podcast for you! You better listen – get ready, all you loyal listeners, as we delve into latest news and reviews from the past few weeks! It is a double-sized annual of an episode as we discuss the renewal (huzzah!) of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the cancellation (duh) of Inhumans; we also talk about the theft of the O.G. Iron Man suit used in the first MCU flick, and then it’s trailer talk as we discuss the latest teasers for Venom, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and season 2 of Luke Cage! Meanwhile, in reviews, the Warriors Three tackle a topic they haven’t touched in quite some time: a Book of the Week with the relaunch of Avengers #1, running parallel to the very first Avengers story that occurred 1,000,000 B.C.! Then in individual reviews, Ben visits a utopian future where girls run the world in All-New Wolverine #34, part 2 of “Old Woman Laura”. Tazer conducts his own parlour scene as he delves into the mysterious circumstances of Logan’s resurrection in Hunt for Wolverine #1, and Jon reminds Iggy that he isn’t the only one paying attention to Infinity Countdown when he reviews the third issue in the event series. Finally, Bry-Bry closes up shop by talking about all the ways that Thanos ruins lives with Thanos Annual #1! And that’s our show for this week, folks! Episode #274: [SCREAMING]

23 03 2018

Everybody, STAY F@#$ING CALM – it’s just the latest episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast! But, gosh, is there a LOT to get loud about! While Ol’ Man Whirlyburger is off letting his clientele know what exactly they think about ‘em, The Marvelous Iggy, a.k.a. Ben, Newsboy Bry-Bry, and Tazer get together to scream, and shout, and let it all out! They scream about the casting of Luke Cage’s new villain for season 2, to be portrayed by Annabella Sciorra, they shout about the newest editions to Marvel’s latest reboot, which include a new #1 for novelty mutant sensation Dazzler, and a demotion for Laura Kinney back to the old X-23 moniker, and they let it all out about the last Avengers: Infinity War trailer before the release of the movie and OH MY GOD IT’S ALMOST HERE AAAAHHHH!!!!!!!! …Ahem, excuse me… Anyway, in reviews, Ben wonders aloud why nobody is paying more attention to Infinity Countdown #1, if only because it’s apparently supposed to be an event comic? Tazer voices (quite sternly) his disappointment in New Mutants: Dead Souls #1, and Bry-Bry sings to the heavens the praises of Marvel 2-in-One #4, and commends Ben Grimm on a solid right hook. That’s our show for this week, folks! Be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter , subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review! Yes, while Ol’ Man Whirlyburger Jon-Jon is off flippin’ them burgers and resident newsie/whipping boy Bry-Bry is off by himself in the cold and the dark of a New England winter storm, it’s just the glorious leader, the Marvelous Iggy a.k.a. Ben, and the world’s most frequent part-time host Tazer to take the reins and guide this show to glory! In the news this week, they seem to be off to a good start with praise to Robert Downey, Jr as Avengers: Infinity War has been bumped-up the release schedule a week earlier than anticipated – worldwide! Huzzah! But will it be soon enough for The Man? The Warriors address the failing health of Marvel’s most iconic creator Stan Lee, elder of the Marvel Universe.
